I saw some complaints but it truly smells just fine (like nothing). It takes less than 3 minutes to remove and replace the trash. I have the blue/green deodorizer and have nothing to compare it to, but it is fine with me. Still, that’s much better than it had been with the other litter system we had, because there’s no chance I’ll forget.I love getting to track how often he goes and how much he weighs, because honestly I had no clue before. The deodorizing spray smells like nothing to me, but I know it works because originally I turned it off in the settings (default has it spraying 4x a day periodically), and once I turned it back on, the smell of litter all but disappeared.

It only smells like clay, though, not cat pee or poop, so that’s fine with us.The litter tray is great but I wish there was a warning that the tray was *nearing* full before just saying it needs to be changed right now. I have the timer set to 3 minutes after he leaves, but you can do it sooner if you need.I have noticed that my cat goes in the same spot every time for pee, which is not great for him because it’s just on the edge of the litter area, and so it sometimes gets stuck on the sides or on the grate that sifts the clumped litter (we are using Pidan litter currently but I’ll try the PETKIT litter next just for comparison). What that means in a practical sense to me is that I have to peer in there every day or two to make sure the clumps aren’t clumping into the grate so I can keep the smell at bay. I also took advice from others here and didn’t turn the new litter box on for a full day so my cat wouldn’t be scared. He hasn’t ever gone anywhere other than this box since we removed his other one (we left them both for a few days so he would get used to it). We had previously used the Breeze litter system which was great, but if I got busy and forgot to change the pad, it would overflow and create a horrible stinky mess.I was concerned the small opening would deter my 10.5 lb American Curl from going in, but after the first few days, he stopped pouting. TLDR: get it if you can afford it- works well, eliminates smell and chores.Full review:Smell has really gone away since we’ve had this, which was what my husband said he would happily pay money for. The app is decent enough, but I have had frequent network connectivity issues that appear to be from the host-end.Again, I think this machine is very good, but would like to see improvement in these two areas as they could significantly effect the usefulness/longevity of the product. This is one of the most important components of the machine.2.
#Pet u automatic feeder manual update
They need to update their photos and descriptions on Amazon and their own website and provide guidance on this subject. I also asked if replacement mats/liners would be available in the future should I need to replace them. I emailed customer support and received this response:"This cylinder mat is our newly upgraded version.Because the previous TPE version users reported some shortcomings, we have upgraded the mat. This newly upgraded version can better prevent leakage, prevent sticking and prevent cats from scratching. So it will bring a better user experience to the user."I am OK with this if it works, but I already see 2 pee/poop stains on it after 5 days of use (haven't tried washing yet and asked them how they would like me to do that). Rather, it has a sewn in treated cloth liner at the bottom of the basin. The basin liner/mat is advertised as TPE rubber that is nonstick. I am giving this 3/5 stars for now but believe it has the potential to be a 5/5 machine.I have two concerns:1. I also think the size of the waste bin is adequate, and should last single cat household about 5-7 days. It is good at self-cleaning, quiet, and my cats took to it right away.

Also the network issues have been resolved and things are working without issue.Overall, the machine works as advertised. Easy to clean this when you clean the cylinder so I am less concerned than I was before about them ditching the TPE liner. Update: 5/5 The liner for the cylinder does clean easily, and is water resistant.
